HELP WANTED -- Impulse Job Description

I'm looking for an individual who posses the following characteristics::

Mature
Sophisticated
Knowledge of the Fashion Industry (no, Juicy Couture is not a designer)
Responsible
Strong personal aesthetic
Honest
Hard working
Open and up front communicator
Independent thinker
Creative problem solver
Experience in retail and sales
Willingness to learn and try new things
Positive attitude

JOB DESCRIPTION::

You will be 100% in charge of Impulse on Jill's (me) days off. Responsibilities include *first and foremost* helping clients, keeping the Impulse racks and back room organized and clean, opening and closing the shop on time, mailing and packing ship-outs and email orders, staying up to date on Impulse's designers, having a thorough knowledge of how clothing fits and works on different body types (yes, this means you try everything on), building personal relationships with clients, and being willing to help out with any of the other zillion unforeseen tasks that always seem to arise.

HOURS::

My days off are Sunday and Monday. I'd prefer to have one person work both days for the sake of consistency and ease of communication; however, if you can only work one of those days, don't let that stop you from sending in a resume (please specify on your resume which days you are available).

10:50am to 5:00pm on Sunday
10:50am to 7:10pm on Monday

**I also need extra help for sales, special events, when I'm away at Market (twelve days in September and February), and when I'm out of town on personal trips.

I like to keep a list on hand of fill-in people for special occasions -- so if you're unwilling to commit but willing to be an on-call helper -- please let me know this as well.

COMPENSATION::

I'm willing to pay for the right person. Wage plus commission. Depends on experience.

DISCOUNT::

Depends on how many hours you work a week. Ranges from 20% to 40%. Also up for negotiation.

IF YOU'RE INTERESTED::

Please hand me a copy of your resume and note your availability in big letters across the top.

If possible, please bring your resume by the shop -- that way I'll be able to put a face to the name. If it's not possible to stop by, please email me your information.

Please note: if you come into the shop with a resume, while I'm appreciative of your coming by, I won't have time to answer questions or interview. It's best to email me with questions.

I think that's it. Thank you for your support and please forward this information on to anyone whom you think might be interested. I'm looking for that special someone (or a few of you, if that's what it takes)!

Jill
