Jill's off to Paris

I miss you guys and the shop so much! I've been in NY for a week and tonight I leave for Paris. I had the greatest week. I met such great people and hung out with some of my favorites "reps" (as in sales representatives -- industry lingo here folks -- they represent the designers and present the line) and fellow shop owner Lara Osen from Vancouver (Misch) -- it was such a great trip. I'm posting two last images. One is of sweet, sweet Joan. Joan highlights as a Impulse employee on rare occasion, but has been shopping with us for years. She's currently living in Chicago and just happened to be in the city on business. I was lucky enough to dine with her one afternoon.

The other shot is the view from my hotel room. New York rooftops. I thought it would be interesting to compare it to a rooftop shot of Paris.

So this is my goodbye to New York. What a week. My car leaves in 30 minutes and I'm killing time drinking wine solo in the hotel bar. Hence the pointless post. It's so obvious I miss Seattle. Bye bye now.

Wow! Vivienne Westwood, Cheap Monday, Dace and Tsumori Chisato all arrived today! Yikes! So much good stuff!
